I bought an original AI disc from Navteq, then backed it up and made the hack. If anyone would like to purchase my origianl AI, I will sell it for $150 shipped.

My 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited MyGig does not have navigation - can the inmotion hack still be applied and do I need a navteq disk even though the unit does not have nav? Thanks

I haven't been here in a good while, just trying to get caught up. Should I skip AG and try to get AI? If so, anyone want to share the wealth?
I see that the graphics for the Dodge has ben altered, but not Jeep or Chrysler. I have a Chrysler, and like the logo, but if possible I have always wanted to alter it, but I couldn't figure out the pallette.
I think I have a iso of AG, I will test that on some DL disks. I have an 8 day driving vacation coming up SOON and want it up to date.
I have already used a patched backup of AF (I think) successfully.

I don't think that anyone has figured out the pallet. The Dodge logo that I modified retains the same colors as the original image. I just changed the word DODGE to InMotion. I did require manipulation of the image. I just kept the color that same, so that I could bypass pallette manipulation.

Please do not PM me with requests for copies of the Nav disc. I do not distribute them in any form.

The Chrysler logo seems to be paged as 2 images since it is so wide, and it used many more colors. Anyway thanks for the update, maybe I'll look at it again.

I bought the AI version and loaded it into my REC nav unit. Then I found this forum. I proceeded to RIP the AI DVD, replace the MAIN.APN files in the ZH2FF and ZH100 with the April,22 2010 in motion hack version, then burned a new DVD. The new DVD with the 2 new MAIN.APN hacked files work exactly as the original AI disk. No hack.
Now I assume that the REC must not have seen a version change, and the unit didnt get flashed with the hacked MAIN.APN files.
Am I correct and out of luck? Does this procedure only work when updating the REC unit to a new version, say from AG to AI so that the unit can see the version change and update the code with the hacked version?
